While at IDEO, PT was consumer advocate in-residence. PT extended and deepened the way IDEO conducts research, develops insights and synthesizes opportunities. He developed new and valuable points-of-view on transitional China that add to IDEO’s thought leadership in areas to do with consumers, brands and business. He brought new opportunities including working with Nike and Unilever.
PT Black is the senior director of brand experience and planning at Nike, Greater China. His primary role is to oversee and integrate Nike’s creative services team - advertising, media, digital brand, and brand design. He also runs the brand strategy. He works across the Nike organization to develop new and better ways of uncovering and using human insight. PT has lived in China for over 15 years and is perpetually inspired by the possibilities of great creative that is rooted in powerful human insight.
