Hello, I’m Sean Fu

Sean Fu is a Design Lead at IDEO Shanghai. He takes a multimedia approach, including graphic design, photography, video and experience design, to form a direct understanding of sentiment and inspire innovative solutions. 

With a passion for the Chinese consumer market, Sean has developed a deep understanding of the Chinese consumers over the years. He believes good design means fulfilling people's needs or even transforming their lifestyle, so as to bring sustainable business value to companies. At IDEO, he has worked on a wide range of projects, including fashion, luxury, food and beverage, etc.

In addition, Sean has extensive experience in rebranding, communication strategy and creative advertising, helping brands connect commercial value with people's needs. A strong creative and system thinker, he works with clients to help them understand the innovation process and human-centered design, navigate and simplify complexities, express their brand personality and values.

Before joining IDEO, Sean worked as a creative advertising specialist at production and advertising companies. His clients range from Global 500 companies to leading Chinese enterprises, including Unilever, CocaCola, Yum! Brands, Kraft Foods, Bank of Communications, Anta Sports, Marriott and others.
